Who is Santa's Poet Amy?
I was going about my day to day life, performing poems requested on the spot on the Pearl Street Mall in Boulder, Colorado. Â
Then on November 10, 2017, I found a letter next to my fireplace, it said that Santa and Mrs. Claus were considering me to fill a recently created position as The North Pole Poet Laureate.
The very next day, Rudolph came pulling a mini-sleigh (they reserve the full size sleighs for when Santa has to haul Christmas presents) and he took me to the North Pole in 4.659 minutes. Being on the sleigh was so magical, it took my breath away.
I performed a poem on the spot about the elves, Christmas and Santa’s favorite dessert, for Santa, Mrs. Claus, the elves and reindeer. Everyone joined in on the poem, dancing and singing along.
And I became the official North Pole Poet Laureate.
So grateful Santa Claus named me

My official duties as the North Pole Poet Laureate are to help officiate Christmas celebrations and to bring more poetic holiday cheer to Christmas.
I love being Santa’s Official Poet, it’s fun to meet so many people who have the love of Christmas which many carry deep in their hearts all year long.
